This one is hand painted underglaze. It’s a snowy mountain top view, but that looks a bit like heaven to me.

There is something truly magical about a first snow, but I don’t quite want to experience that just yet. Maybe the end of November or early December would be nice.

Big news! Technically yesterday now. Excited to try it with more clay. Also excited to have my son on my old Vevor wheel so he can learn alongside me.

This one the mother of pearl made it so beautiful. I wish the video could do it justice. It looks almost like it was formed as a pearl.

somehow. Holly, snow and pine all wrapped into one.

This one reminds me of a child’s imagination. Watching a flower dance in the wind is possible if you can see the world as a child does.

Day 14, I’m tired. Whether you see it as a cozy blanket or a Christmas sweater this one just reminds me of homemade comfort.

I apologize for not posting this yesterday as intended. I hurt my back pretty badly lifting a slip bucket wrong on Saturday and haven’t been functioning very well. Might mean I’ll get some underglaze painting in and have to pause building for a bit. This one took a deceptively long time to make cleaning each hole. She is pretty though.

I had the most fun making this dragon angel. The dragon scales were made on the wings while it was green ware, but I had to wait until glazing for the dragons. That was a hard wait.
