I really love the Lakota East Arts and Craft Show. Well organized and designed. Today I had the amazing experience of repeat customers (who didn't previously know me) for my paintings. I *think* they're following me here, but either way, I hope they know how much they mean to me. Already looking forward to tomorrow's show!

Today's post is courtesy of more Bob Ross inspiration. Season 6 Episode 1. Dissatisfied with my first attempt, I did a couple more. It took me a minute to figure out how to make it appear as though the water was open and continuing. I thought I would share the evolution of this one with you - I can definitely see how an artist would repeat the same scene many, many times.

Hi Friends! I hope you find this as fun as I do. I've been pouring on guitars lately (pics soon!) but I really wanted to try something different. Bob Ross became my inspiration. I'm looking forward to exploring several artists' techniques now that he sparked my creativity! Below is one of my early attempts. It's roughly based on Season 6 Episode 5, if you are curious. :)
