Hello fans. Last year was so much fun selling Halloween themed carvings. However I received an overwhelming request for 2D to 3D carvings. So this year I’m shifting over my focus to McDannald woodworks. I’ve spent my time since last October really getting a good technique to convert photos to 3D in a way that I feel comfortable selling.

Greetings. Last year at my booths I received hundreds of request to sculpt 3D faces from photos. The problem was i just didn’t know how to do it accurately. There are a few art houses from Asia that offered the service at cheep price however the results were kind of Pixar cartoon like. So I’ve been quiet lately figuring out a combination software and technique that makes the process accurate as well as quick. I think I’m about ready. I’ll be spending the next month building some popculture examples as well as some family photos for display.

Well the seasons shows are about over so it’s time to go though things that didn’t sell and use them around the house. I’m really glad this one didn’t sell, think it really ties the kitchen together.
