🧨 These Spindle Firecrackers are always a hit!! I used Sweet Pickins Milk Paint in Moody Blue, Creamy, and Red Wagon. I simply sealed with clear beeswax, drilled a small hole, and glued in some jute for a wick! Are you going to try these? Find the paint you need in the comments!

👀 The Little Leather Library was a wildly popular series of miniature, abridged literary classics published in New York between 1916 and 1925. Measuring roughly 3" x 4", they were initially sold at Woolworth's and later through mail-order for as little as 10 cents each.

The series was conceived by Albert and Charles Boni, alongside advertising executives Harry Scherman and Maxwell Sackheim.

The venture was highly successful, paving the way for two major publishing pillars. The Bonis went on to found the Modern Library (and later Random House), while Scherman and Sackheim launched the Book of the Month Club.

The company published 101 different titles spanning poetry, essays, and short stories by literary titans. You will commonly find works by William Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Oscar Wilde, Rudyard Kipling, and Robert Louis Stevenson.
