Farewell, Painted Tree 💔
My story: “Grief of a Dream”

Many of you may have already heard… all Painted Tree locations across the country are closing in less than 10 days due to the company filing for bankruptcy. Vendors were notified via email yesterday morning.

By that afternoon, both of my booths in Overland Park were completely packed up. Today, I removed all racks, stands, and shelving. This afternoon, I rented a storage unit—and tomorrow I’ll head to the Barrywoods location to begin the process all over again. Meanwhile, amazing friends and family in Lincoln are helping me clear out my booth there as well.

So how am I processing all of this?
Honestly… I’m grieving. This was more than a booth—it was a dream. And right now, I’m sitting in that space while also trying to figure out what comes next.
