Knitcraft and Angelika's will closing at 2pm today, Friday April 17th, due to weather. We want to make sure our employees and customers stay safe as dangerous storms move into the area. We will be open at 10am Saturday morning!

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our owner, Robert Bandlow.

Robert dedicated over 40 years to the yarn and knitting industry, building not just a business, but a community. He was deeply grateful for each and every one of you—our customers, friends, and fellow makers—and found true joy in the conversations, connections, and stories shared both in and beyond the shop.

Knitcraft was more than his life’s work—he carried on the heritage and passion of his mother, as I will my father. We want to reassure you that Knitcraft will continue on strong, carrying forward this legacy he worked so hard to build. It is our hope to keep Knitcraft and our community of friends for many more generations to come.

In lieu of flowers or cards, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Pancreatic Action Network in honor of Robert, to support other families facing this difficult disease. A link to donate can be found on his memorial page below.
