Need a Labor Day weekend plan that comes with armfuls of flowers?

This one gives you six acres to work with. 🌻

The eighth annual Southern Maryland Sunflower Festival returns to Serenity Farm in Benedict on Saturday and Sunday, September 5–6. Admission includes pick-your-own sunflowers, so bring your own shears and build a bouquet while you’re there.

The Scoop:

🌻 September 5–6 from 10 AM to 4 PM
✂️ Six acres of pick-your-own sunflowers
🎟️ $12 online, plus a ticket fee, or $15 at the gate; children 7 and younger are free
🐐 Hayrides, face painting, live music, local vendors, art, and a walk-through petting pen

Parking is free, leashed dogs are welcome, and outside food is not permitted.

This may be the only weekend plan where forgetting your scissors is the biggest tactical mistake.

Would you make the drive to Benedict for this one? Let us know below. 👇
