Finished the remake. USPS won’t be able to break this one. Unfortunately it’s the last project for a long while. Family is getting ready to move in 2 weeks so will be well over a year before a new shop gets put together. Will find some sort of projects to keep me busy.

Been doing one of my charity builds lately. A little library on the behalf of the Central Indiana Woodworkers. It’s a duty and a privilege to serve one’s community, and make the world a little better.

New tool Sunday. Finally getting the Incra set up after months of being out of stock. Guess a lot of people listened to The Wood Whisperer. Improving the shop a little bit at a time.

Oh yeah, it’s all coming together. Quick test lining the pieces up and figuring out the best pattern and faces to show. Sand the glue sides to give better hold. Then a whole mess of titebond 3.

Spent all day taking care of the family because of Covid and needed to unwind…time for the next project. A maple and walnut edge grain cutting board. Got everything roughed out tonight.

One of the things I like most about woodworking is making special presents for friends and family. My second platter/bowl made for a fraternity brother’s wedding this weekend.
