One of the most rewarding aspects of community partnerships is seeing their impact firsthand.

Earlier this year, through IDO's 2026 sponsorship with the Indianapolis Zoo, the sixth-grade student body, staff and parent chaperones from Herron Preparatory Academy, an IPS Innovation School, had the opportunity to experience a day of exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning beyond the classroom.

As part of their visit, students participated in a science-based project focused on animal biology and ecology. Each student selected an animal, observed its habitat, diet, behaviors, and other unique characteristics, and then documented their findings through illustrations and research. Activities like these encourage observation, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.

While the field trip was just one part of our year-long partnership, it reflects something we value deeply at IDO: investing in opportunities that support education, inspire curiosity, and strengthen our community.

Our continued partnership with the Zoo also provides opportunities for our team to engage throughout the year, from employee membership benefits to unique behind-the-scenes experiences that foster learning and connection outside of the office.

We're grateful to support an organization that advances education, conservation, and community engagement across Central Indiana, and we look forward to the continued impact of this partnership throughout 2026.

It's finally June and we all know, Summer is better on the porch.🎷

IDO is proud to be one of the sponsors supporting the 2026 Summer Porch Concert Series at The Indianapolis Propylaeum, helping bring together music, community, and connection in one of Indianapolis' most historic settings.

Held in the heart of the Old Northside, this free and inclusive concert series showcases incredible local talent, community vendors, and food and beverages available for purchase—all in a relaxed outdoor atmosphere perfect for a summer evening.

Cue the confetti and roll out the red carpet… IDO is officially a 2026 Best Places to Work Indiana - Small Business Category winner!

We’re incredibly proud to share that last week, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce recognized IDO as one of Indiana’s top culture-focused companies — and we landed #25 in the Small Business category! After earning #64 in 2023 and climbing to #24 in 2025, this “fourfecta” year felt extra special.

But the truth is — this achievement belongs entirely to our incredible team. Every collaboration, every conversation, every challenge tackled together, and every moment of support is what makes IDO the kind of place people genuinely love being part of. Our core value of connectedness isn’t just something we talk about — it’s something our team lives out every single day, and this recognition is a direct reflection of that.

May in Indiana just hits different. 🌸

The peonies are showing off right now — big, fluffy blooms that somehow smell like spring memories, sunshine, and a little bit of magic all at once.

Every year in May, IDO comes alive with fresh-cut peonies from Anne Holden's the garden. For a few short weeks, the office smells absolutely incredible, desks turn into mini flower markets, and everyone suddenly has very strong opinions about “the perfect shade of pink.” 😂

It’s one of those simple seasonal rituals that makes this time of year feel extra special. Indiana may keep us guessing with the weather, but peony season? Worth every single pollen-covered minute. 💐
