Exciting things are happening at Southfield Public Schools!

We’re looking forward to celebrating the upcoming groundbreaking for Southfield University K–12 Academy on July 14. This transformational project will be the first new building in the district in decades and will create a modern, state-of-the-art learning environment for students and staff.

Project highlights include:
• Collaboration spaces for enhanced learning
• STEM/STEAM labs
• New natatorium with 8-lane competition pool
• E-Sports lab
• Designed to be safe, secure, & energy efficient

We had a great time out on the course supporting BASA at this year’s golf outing! ⛳️

Fanning Howey was proud to sponsor Hole 4 and the always-fun putt-putt challenge, where the competition didn’t disappoint, two golfers hit impressive hole-in-ones, resulting in a tie for first place! 👏

Events like this are a meaningful way for us to stay connected to the communities we serve. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support and the important work they do, and to spend time with so many great partners, clients, and friends along the way.

Today, we had the privilege of celebrating Ed Sawa’s extraordinary career as we honored his retirement after 39 years of dedicated service.

Throughout his career, he has contributed far more than his expertise and leadership. He has built lasting relationships, mentored colleagues, supported clients, and helped shape the culture that makes our firm so special. His commitment, professionalism, and genuine care for those around him have left a lasting impact on countless projects and people.

As he shared in his retirement message, his time at Fanning Howey has been much more than “work.” It has been a journey filled with meaningful connections, rewarding experiences, and decades of collaboration with an incredible team.

We thank him for nearly four decades of service and we wish him nothing but happiness, good health, and fulfillment in this next chapter!

From racetracks to paper runways, our offices brought the competition! 🏁✈️

Our Indy team celebrated the Indy 500 with a Race Day party that brought out a great turnout and plenty of excitement, while our Celina team joined in the fun with pizza and their annual paper airplane contest to see who could design the farthest-flying plane.

Always a great way to connect, have fun, and enjoy a little friendly competition across teams!

Celebrating a meaningful impact in our communities 👏

Batesville Community Education Foundation is one of four schools to receive a 2026 grant from the Indiana Association of Public Education Foundations (INAPEF) to help address food insecurity.

Fanning Howey is proud to partner with INAPEF, supporting these efforts for several years by helping identify needs and award grants to schools making a difference.

Supporting the schools and communities we serve is at the heart of Fanning Howey. We were proud to recently sponsor the Dearborn Education Foundation Green Tie Dinner, an inspiring evening celebrating graduating seniors who received scholarships through the foundation.
The evening also recognized the outstanding individuals and organizations whose generosity supports Dearborn Public Schools through educational grants, helping create meaningful opportunities for students and educators alike.

Guests enjoyed student performances from Maples Elementary School and Woodworth Middle School, a meaningful awards ceremony, and a wonderful dinner shared with the community. Congratulations to all of the scholarship recipients and honorees on this well-deserved recognition! 🎓✨

We’re excited to welcome back Mara Muhlenkamp as a Marketing Intern in our Celina office!

Mara is currently attending BGSU Schmidthorst College of Business, where she is double specializing in Sales and Services Marketing and Management. She first joined Fanning Howey last summer and continued supporting our team throughout her junior year, contributing to our social media efforts.
