{ More Than a Blood Drive 🩸 } What may look like a few hours of giving is, for another family, the beginning of more birthdays, more holidays, more ordinary days together, and more time with someone they love. 🤍

I’m so proud to share the results from our recent blood drive with Versiti Blood Center of Indiana: 16 donors, 15 units collected, and the potential to impact up to 45 local lives.

This cause is very personal to my family and me. My sister-in-law, Jennifer, is here today because of the generosity of blood and platelet donors. People she may never meet, but whose kindness gave her the chance to heal, recover, and keep making memories with the people who love her most. Once you witness that kind of impact firsthand, you never see blood donation as a small act again.

I’m honored to have served as a judge for the 2026 PaperCity Design Awards Houston. 🌟 Reviewing this year’s submissions was such a rewarding experience. The talent, creativity, and craftsmanship represented across Houston’s design and architecture community were truly inspiring, and it was a privilege to be part of the process.

This is what I love about a revival: the house already has a point of view. ✨

For Brendonwood Mid-Century Revival, the goal was to let the original character guide the next chapter. The vintage Meridian ceramic fireplace was one of the reasons our clients fell in love with the 1950s home, so we used it as the design anchor instead of treating it as a standalone feature.

Its color, shape, and texture inspired the kitchen palette, the warmth of the wood cabinetry, and the House of Hackney mural in the dining room, creating a thread between old and new. 🤍

Against a rich wall color or wallcovering, layered artwork and collected frames create a sense of history and personality. 🤍

I’ve always loved mixing vintage finds, meaningful pieces, and unexpected textures when building a gallery wall. It’s those collected layers that make a home feel personal and lived in rather than perfectly matched or overly styled.

A thoughtfully curated wall tells a story over time and brings so much warmth and character into a space.

In June 2015, Tiffany Skilling Interiors began with a belief that design should do more than make a home beautiful; it should tell a story. 🤍

Eleven years later, that belief is still at the heart of everything we do. From whole home renovations and new construction to custom design projects and the pieces we curate for Story, our work has always been about creating spaces that feel personal, layered, and connected to the people who live in them.

I’m so grateful for the clients who have trusted us with their homes, the team who brings such care and attention to detail to every project, and the stories we’ve had the honor of helping to tell along the way.

If you watched my recent home tour with Homeworthy, you already know: welcome to my powder room. 🦢✨

I have always believed powder rooms should feel like little jewel boxes: small spaces with big personality, layered details, and something worth talking about.

When we renovated, the floors needed a little love, so we replaced them with a similar material: a classic black-and-white marble basket weave. From there, I leaned into the drama with a black toilet and pedestal sink, this incredible Gucci Heron wallcovering, vintage art, a sculptural gold mirror, and a few details that make the room feel collected rather than expected. 🤍

On Friday, June 5, I invite you to join us at Story by Tiffany Skilling for our semiannual blood drive with Versiti Blood Center of Indiana, a simple, generous act that can make a life-changing difference.

From 9 AM to 1 PM, Story will become a donation site at 1057 E 54th St. in Indianapolis for a cause that is deeply personal to our family. We host this drive in honor of my sister-in-law, Jen, whose journey with severe aplastic anemia changed the way we understand blood donation.

For patients in treatment, donated blood can be the support that helps them keep going. 🤍

Zoom in on the pillows, then swipe out for the full story. 🔎 At 58th Street, soft blues and playful patterns bring just the right amount of energy to an otherwise calm, classic living room.

The pillows add contrast and movement, drawing the eye through the space while tying back to the art, books, and collected accents throughout the room. It’s a small layer with a big purpose: making the space feel polished and pulled together. 🤍
