I have a soft spot for rooms that don't reveal everything at first glance. 🐸

For the guest bath at The Glasswater House, we embraced a little whimsy with a frog wallcovering that feels equal parts unexpected and timeless. Set against deep blue millwork, matte black fixtures, and touches of antique brass, the playful pattern becomes something surprisingly sophisticated. 🤍

The great room at The Glasswater House is proof that modern design can still feel welcoming. 🤍 When natural materials, thoughtful proportions, and layered textures come together, warmth follows naturally.

A soaring slatted-wood fireplace wall anchors the space, while expansive windows frame the landscape beyond, allowing the changing light to become part of the experience. Clean architectural lines are balanced with inviting furnishings, tactile textiles, and carefully considered details, creating a room that feels warm while staying true to its modern character.

Looking back on a very special few days in New York. 🤍

These moments from House Beautiful's 2026 Next Wave Class celebration are ones I'll always treasure. It was an honor to celebrate the magazine's 130th anniversary, spend time in its remarkable archives, and connect with such an inspiring group of designers.

I'm grateful to House Beautiful for this recognition and for creating space to celebrate the people and ideas shaping the future of design. It's an experience I'll carry with me for years to come.

I couldn't share Storybook Baths without giving these showers a post of their own. 🤍

A single material carried from wall to ceiling creates a sense of immersion, while marble introduces contrast and rhythm throughout the space.

We treated the niches as part of the architecture, framing each one in stone so the practical details felt just as considered as the decorative ones.

When every surface shares the same hue, the eye begins to notice what truly matters: proportion, texture, light, and the objects collected over time. 🤍

For The Glasswater House, we wrapped this office in a rich green, allowing the custom cabinetry to read as part of the architecture rather than simply storage. Walnut, aged brass, and a softly atmospheric landscape bring warmth and contrast without interrupting the room’s quiet rhythm.

The result is a workspace with presence but without distraction, where even the most practical details contribute to the composition.

Storybook Baths was imagined as a collection of rooms with distinct personalities, each one telling its own story through material, pattern, and proportion. 🚿

This first bath is unapologetically layered. Saturated green millwork grounds the room, a graphic wallcovering brings movement overhead, and expressive marble cuts through it all with a quiet sense of permanence.

This is only the first chapter of Storybook Baths. The second bath offers an entirely different point of view, and I can't wait to share it with you. 🤍

The pieces we return to again and again are rarely the loudest. They are the ones that carry a sense of history, artistry, and soul. 🤍

I was honored to share what is inspiring me right now with Business of Home for its What I Love series. From hand-knotted rugs and sculptural lighting to antique treasures, floral textiles, and objects collected over time, each selection reflects my belief that the most memorable interiors are created through thoughtful layering, unexpected pairings, and pieces with character that reveal themselves over time.

A little guest bath that feels transportive. 🚿

For this space, we leaned into contrast: deep blue walls, polished KOHLER brass fixtures, sculptural marble, and a shower wrapped in glossy tile. The palette is moody and tailored, while the hydrangeas, collected vessel, and antique mirror bring in just enough softness to keep the room from feeling too formal.

I love when a mudroom is treated as more than a pass-through, especially when it is one of the hardest-working rooms in the house. 🤍

This space was added to solve a very real problem: too many doors, not enough room, and nowhere for daily life to land. Now, it gives everyone a place, with lockers, a charging drawer, filing storage, and all the things a family needs as they come and go each day.

The palette was pulled from the dining room wallcovering, with Farrow & Ball's Sulking Room Pink on the cabinetry and a beautiful Zak + Fox print wrapping the space. The mosaic floor is a nod to the home’s 1960s kitchen, reimagined with a Greek key border so a piece of the home’s past could live on in a new way. ✨
