‘Grand Repos’ translates roughly to ‘great rest’ in French — an appropriate name for a chair designed around serious comfort.

The Grand Repos pairs generous cushioning with a concealed reclining mechanism that moves from upright to deeply relaxed while maintaining support. The result is a lounge chair that feels as luxurious as it looks: elegant, exceptionally comfortable, and beautifully made down to the smallest detail.

Looking for a great way to kick off the weekend? Join Anna from Design Ranch for an architectural walking tour of downtown Cedar Rapids hosted by the Iowa Architectural Foundation (IAF)!

On this tour, a local historian will guide guests along a downtown route that includes highlights such as the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, the Iowa Theatre Building, Merchants National Bank, and other historic gems.

The tour will launch outside the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art at 424 3rd Ave SE at 10:00AM on Saturday the 27th and will last about an hour and a half. Head to the IAF website for tickets (2 for 1 admission!) and parking info. See you there!
