Today was Thursday so our fun group of ladies met in the classroom upstairs. Maggie made it down for the day and it was so nice to see Amy too! We had 4 of them finishing up their barnyard patterns and oh my goodness! I really hope we have all of these at the rug show in July! Valerie is a beautiful Oxford puncher and she brought in another rug to share with us. It’s beautiful!

It’s going to be a busy weekend!we have e live shows lined up! Thursday a little after 4pm with will walk you through making a simple sunflower pincushion and Friday morning we will go over the backing sale that starts Friday and run though Monday night, this is only on 5 yard cuts of any of our backings. Nothing smaller and nothing bigger lol it’s always just 5 yards 2 a year 😉 and then Friday a little after 4 we are showing you fun easy way to fill the silver pendants from quillies to pleating to mini punch! And Saturday night a little after 4 we will highlight our newest dyed wool bundles! Remember if you busy any of those times you can watch at your convenience right on the website under live shows! ****third edit and Friday am update. Dad slept like a baby and remembers nothing at all from all of yesterday’s scary event. He just says his head itches lol đŸ€ŠđŸ»â€â™€ïž thank you everyone for all the hugs and prayers and well wishes. He’s like the Enginer bunny! Takes a “likin and keeps on tickin” lol
***second edit.. it’s midnight but everyone is home. Dad with 7 staples in the back of his head 🙄. It just glad he didn’t have to stay. Everyone is pretty tired. Thank you everyone.

***Edited with an update: they are releasing him tonight! They feel the fracture is from an old injury and not this fall. So mom, dad and Neil, will be home as soon as he is discharged

. lol, So I was supposed to be setting up a live for tomorrow night with new dyed wool bundles
.on our day off, on Tuesday and Wednesday but we picked up a 10x14 pergola on market place for $50!!! And the back deck boards had to be replaced before it could go up
 so I was the tool hander, ice water getter, board hauler for Neil lol then today I was supposed to work on the bundles to have the live Saturday night and a freight trucks pulls up! Whoops!! that wasn’t supposed to be here till next week! So we started unpacking that big order
. And we also had 12-14 happy hookers and stitchers here for Thursday open hooking
and we had almost ended the day when dad took a header in the office and hit his head on the corner of the filing cabinet
 I will spare you those pictures
. At 96 with tissue paper skin
. Plus the fact he has a fused leg, no knee so it does not bend at all, so when he falls he can’t catch himself.. he goes down hard and fast
 Neil took dad and mom to the ER and it looks like they are keeping him over night.. they think he has a fracture in his neck. Sigh
. If it’s going to happen it will happen to dad! But stay tuned we will have a live soon on all this yummy wooden goodies and on a whole bunch of new over dyed wool bundles! Mom and Neil will be at the hospital all day with days tomorrow so probably not tomorrow night but maybe Saturday and Sunday? We will have to see what those days bring us lol

One of our favorite things to do when new wool comes in is to wash 3-4 yards of everything and make up bundles! They might be by color wave, theme, season or holiday or maybe just because they are so pretty together! They come in 3 sizes and they are all washed and ready for you to create with!
The big bundle is 3 fat quarters, that’s 3/4 of a yard of wool total! Perfect for rug hookers! Pre washing they measure 18x30 and all textures and weaves full differently but expect roughly 16-17x28-29 inches after washing. $34.00
The medium bundle is 3 fat 1/8 same wools, all washed and ready to play with! These measure 16-17 inches long by 14-15 inches wide $24.00
The small bundle is 3 fat 1/16 and perfect for appliquérs or rug hookers that just need a small amount of a color set! These measure roughly 7-8 inches wide by 16-17 inches long. $14.00
These bundles are fat, warm, 100% wool, washed and fulled and ready to create with!
