We are now open parttime!! It's been a long time coming, but finally back in the groove with temporary hours to start. We are a unique antiques and gift shop. In the past we specialized in the freedom to do (or not do) as a sole proprietorship, what isn't (or cant) be done in the corporate world. The only cookie cutters we like are old and were actually used to make cookies. A world apart from the
most common use for the word "cookies" today! In chapter 2 we will discern (not without struggle) how to keep the magic of the past while working in the world of technology. Things we won't change:
1. Writing out sales slips by hand on paper and pressing the "no sale" key to ring up purchases on our ornate brass national cash register.
2. Offer free gift wrapping.
3. Make up the rules as we go.(in a good way!!!)
4. Appreciate 99.9% of our customers (& respect the other 1/10th %.) You all are 2nd to none and i look forward to our future relationships. Mostly im grateful for your infinite support & patience through the years of the "ginormous" move and building restoration. I hope in turn you will be able to see & feel the passion, & the blood sweat & tears shed during these past 8+ years when you walk through these doors. Thank you! With love & sincerity...
