What are thoughts about doing darker trim and doors with white walls? Our walls will be White Dove and I'm considering Pale Oak trim or something similar, but I'm also considering color drenching in White Dove. Anyone done it and have pictures? My style is transitional with a lot of organic materials.

We just bought a washer and dryer for a rental and they are too deep for the space. My son was there when they were delivered and took off the doors rather than having them take the washer and dryer back. I don’t want to leave them exposed and I don’t want to put up a curtain. Any ideas on how to close this space off? The washer and dryer are just behind the trim. With the linen closet on the left and a bedroom on the right I can’t do a barn door that slides to either side. Another thought would be to put some really nice shelves above the washer and dryer, maybe one an inch above and another about 18 inches higher.
