Fabric Graphics for Bandai Gundam at Comic-Con International 2026

Comic-Con International returned to San Diego from July 23–26, 2026, following Preview Night on July 22. The event transformed the San Diego Convention Center into a colorful celebration of entertainment, animation, gaming, collectibles and global fan culture.

For Comic-Con 2026, CEES SMIT was proud to produce selected fabric graphics for Bandai’s Gundam experience. We completed this work for our valued client, Cogswell Design.

The project highlights how close collaboration and specialized fabric printing can support an ambitious entertainment environment while maintaining the visual quality of a globally recognized brand.

Collaboration behind the finished experience

Large Comic-Con activations depend on close coordination between agencies, designers, fabricators, graphic-production companies and installation teams.
Every project partner contributes specialized knowledge to the final environment. For this project, CEES SMIT’s role was to provide selected fabric graphics that supported Cogswell Design’s broader work for the Bandai Gundam experience.

Clear communication helped align artwork, dimensions, materials and finishing details with the requirements of the booth. This collaborative process allowed the individual components to come together as one cohesive visitor experience.

Cogswell Design is an Orange County, California-based design and fabrication company. Its team creates physical brand experiences for trade shows, live activations, scenic environments, retail spaces and permanent installations.

Bringing the Gundam universe to the show floor

Bandai welcomed Comic-Con visitors at booth #3829 with an immersive experience dedicated to the Gundam universe.

The booth connected fans of anime, gaming, model building, collectibles and card games. Visitors could explore product displays, discover upcoming releases and participate in interactive activities.

The experience also featured content related to Gundam Rogue Orbit and the newly introduced anime project Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO

Celebrating America 250 at George Washington’s Mount Vernon

The newly redesigned Education Center at George Washington’s Mount Vernon offers visitors an immersive journey through Washington’s life, leadership, and lasting influence on the United States. The 21,000-square-foot exhibition, George Washington: A Revolutionary Life, is the most comprehensive exhibition ever created about America’s first president.

A New Immersive Exhibition at Mount Vernon

Across nine galleries and six immersive media environments, visitors can explore original documents, rare artifacts, interactive displays, and carefully recreated historical settings. Highlights include Washington’s original sword, surveying equipment, camp bed, dentures, presidential objects, and archaeological discoveries from the Mount Vernon estate.

Visitors can step inside a recreation of the President’s House in Philadelphia, experience pivotal conversations from the nation’s founding, and learn about the decisions and personal qualities that shaped Washington’s leadership. The exhibition also presents the stories of enslaved people who lived and worked at Mount Vernon, offering a more complete and meaningful view of life on the estate.

Interactive experiences connect Washington’s 18th-century world to modern questions about leadership, democracy, and national identity. Together, the galleries, historical artifacts, audiovisual storytelling, and immersive museum graphics create an engaging educational experience for visitors of all ages.

Created as Mount Vernon’s “birthday gift to America,” the new Education Center represents a $20 million investment in civic education and public history. It provides a powerful setting for celebrating America 250 while encouraging new generations to explore the people, events, and choices that shaped the nation.
