In the process of setting up the nursery for my little girl. Not good with decorating and such- would love for someone to help me plan out what I should do a little better …. Struggling to find the right rug, struggling to find a way to incorporate the ivory furniture with white walls 😞 (didn’t realize and now it’s too late), not sure what type of curtains to do, if I should put the dresser on the other wall. (I know I need to paint the closet doors but was considering ditching them and dooony curtains or something. Give me ideas please!

We are finally updating our kitchen…well, most of it. My partner absolutely will not let me touch the tile floor, or the cabinets. I mostly agree with him, because the whole house has the same wood tones as the kitchen.
I picked out quartz that works with the cabinets, the tile, and the gold fixtures and accents we have around the house.
My question is, does this herringbone backsplash work with the quartz? I think it does, but I’m second guessing myself because it is the first tiles I looked at. But they seem to work really well? Or am I delusional? Can it be that easy?

I consider myself a minimalist but I think this room is missing something. What do you think I could add to this room that wouldn’t over clutter the space and maximize comfort and coziness?

So this happened today…
I got really tired of my backsplash. I loved it in 2015, but I now find it way too busy with my granite. After consultation with my cousin Dave, who is a professional painter, we decided to paint the tile.
I’m not quite sure I love the color (I swear it’s not the same as the paint chip I chose it from) but I do love that I now have a calmer, cleaner, more cohesive look in my kitchen.
Who knew you could paint tile and have it look so nice? 🤷🏼‍♀️

So a lot of people on this site said NOT to paint my Cabinets green it would look terrible. My granite was too busy. It was the wrong color for any green stay white, but I did it anyway and I love it. I still have if you finishing touches, but I love it
