Inspired by the windowpane of a tailored Western sport coat, Harrington Heritage Plaid lays a fine cream line, shadowed in deep brown, across saddle brown twill. Every line is yarn-dyed and woven in, not printed, and the set is backed in 100% cotton.

Four beds, no two alike.

Camping Toile, canoes and cabins on deep navy. Pacific Plaid, an oversized camp-shirt tartan. Oakleaf, sage and teal with orange acorns. Cabin Rose, a folk rose on denim blue. And Trophy, sweater-knit throws shaped like animal hides.

Move any piece to another bed and it still belongs.

Faux fur on the sofa, wool blend by the door, chenille in the reading chair. Keep fall's warmest layers within reach.

The Ruched Rabbit Double-Sided Throw gathers faux fur into deep channels, plush enough to pull over your shoulders on a cool night. The Gila and Mesa Wool Blend Throw Blankets hang by the door for the porch after dark, Gila in crimson and violet, Mesa in brown and mauve. The Mariella Chenille Teddy-Backed Throw, designed by Tasha Polizzi, has its stars and running stripes woven into the chenille rather than printed, with a soft teddy back on the reverse.

Stetson Home brings two icons of the West indoors: the lone rider and the bucking bronco. Each is drawn in deep charcoal on a natural ground and woven into plush cotton chenille jacquard, not printed on the surface, so it won't fade or wash off. Both come as a throw and a feather-filled pillow.

Three fall picks from our team: a longhorn jacquard, a textured matelassé and a quilt that flips.

The Chisholm Longhorn Chenille Jacquard Bedding Set from Stetson Home, with longhorns woven into plush chenille rather than printed, so they won't fade or wash off. Max Humphrey has spent a career on rooms people don't want to leave. Now he's brought that feeling to the bedroom.

Lodge usually means dark, heavy and serious. His version goes the other way, lighter and layered and a little playful. Canoe-country toile, oversized plaid, oak leaves and folk roses, layered with corduroy and sweater-knit throws shaped like animal hides, all made to mix, not match.
