Just a simple tip to help when a bowl has some hair line Crack on the end grains near the pith. ( see photos) even if you use ca glue or resin you sometimes get that vibration (read squeal or chatter) when turning the inside of the bowl near the rim. If you have enough flat and keep the speed to where they won't fly off, a couple rubber bands around the OD of the bowl can dampen the chatter to allow for a better finish on the inside. Try it out and let me know if it works for you.
