Didn’t cut near as much lumber as I wanted this year. I’ve got a lot of ash, black walnut, etc all stacked up and ready when I am. Love the Fall weather here in Shaner 15642.

For the last 12 months or so, I kinda lost interest in doing woodworking. Well, I’ve officially jumped back in and started things off with this table. This is my first time ever working with epoxy, paired with a live-edge cherry slab that I cut on my sawmill a few years ago along with the classic vintage Singer base. This piece actually found its forever home before I posted it.

Exciting news (for me at least). In the process of clearing a portion of woods to install a pole building. I need to be more organized with wood I’ve cut on the sawmill so hoping this does the trick!

A little chilly out there today but to think it’s almost February and then the sawmill gets fired back up sometime in March. I feel like I need to lay my work clothes out so I’m ready.

Porch Planter Box-I started this project several months ago for our front porch. Well, finished it up today for close friends of ours instead!

I made this 36” bench out of an oak beam I had sitting in the barn. Quite time consuming using dowels for all the joints of legs and cross supports.

I obtained some used pressure treated picket panels and decking and built this potting bench. Quite heavy so made the bottom adaptable for the forks on our tractor. Note: Credit to my wife for the wonderful display!!

Making some tool caddy’s (or porch planter boxes) from old porch decking I have. None are perfect but very sturdy and to top, I think they look pretty neat.

Took an old ripped and stained Pirate jersey and framed it while making a memory box. Can’t tell you what I put in my memory box sealed in 1 gallon plastic bag, but in 50 years or so, someone will be surprised.
