Do I do booth rentals?

No. But I have thought about it. Many of the antique stores in our area do it. People rent space for a monthly fee, and maintain their area. Then the consignment fees are much less, the inventory is done differently, and there is no curating done by the owner (me).

Reason? Many already do it.

I think there is a market for people to drop off their items, let me curate and price, and they are willing to have a higher consignment fee to do this.

Do you have a booth? How often do you maintain it? Does it matter to shoppers to know how the items in a store are taken care of?

What is a story?

What is a reel?

Why does it matter?

It just depends. If you are a business owner or trying to grow your social audience, you need to know where you are posting for sure.
Every post you put on FB can be set up to go in your stories. Then it will be on the top of every followers feed when they open the app or website. They do have to scroll to the right to find you though, if they haven’t been on for a bit. This goes for photos and videos.
Reels are just videos. They can go in your story, yes, but they are in another section of the feed- usually farther down the feed. And once a follower starts watching reels instead of posts, they get off their regular FB and into a scrolling black hole.
And to make it more complicated, you can turn photos into a reel (like I did for this), but it is not like posting many photos they can look through like a multi-photo post.
So know how you are posting, who will see it, and how to reach a new audience. ❤️

How was your Sunday?

After visiting my new grandson, I was able to go to a local event with my other daughter and soon to be daughter-in-law. My granddaughter had fun picking out a book, a pumpkin, and got a gift bag.

Then we went to a new memorial park in the area that honors miners who perished in a beautiful space for their families to remember them.

All was free of charge, we spent more time outside later, and was a great way to spend family time together.
