Meet the Women Behind Herstory
Sometimes the best things come from the moments you didn’t plan for.
Heather and Brandie Bassett had a building that had been left in rough shape, and they were not sure what they would do with the space.
Then came Herstory…
Herstory started with a dream Heather had, inspired by the Dolly Parton exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
She saw the word “history” and read it as “his story.”
Her response?
“No. It should be HER story.”
…that little moment became something much bigger.
Heather had a vision. Brandie took that vision and made it something even bigger than Heather could have ever imagined.
Two women. Two strengths. One dream.
They took something broken and built something beautiful…A place where women’s stories, creativity, businesses, and dreams have a space to be seen and celebrated.
That’s Herstory.
