Alcohol ink, my favorite lesson in letting go of control.
This medium keeps evolving long after I’ve set my tools down, reminding me that not everything needs my interference to become beautiful.
I’m learning to guide the color just enough… trusting it to move, blend, and breathe without turning to mud.

Hooray!! ✨
After days (and nights) of clay-covered hands and creative chaos… I was accepted into my first market here in Jacksonville this Saturday!

And… plot twist, I was also accepted into a weekly Tuesday market at Jax Beach 🙌

I’m officially packed, prepped, and slightly covered in gold leaf 😄

I live in Mayport, and it’s such a fun little spot to wander. If you’ve ever visited me, chances are we ended up at Sliders Restaurant, fresh seafood, cocktails, and sunsets over the shrimp boats 🌅

And I have to say…
When I moved to Jacksonville, I had a long list of reasons why. What I didn’t expect was how incredible the art community is here. The support has been amazing, and I’m so excited to be part of it!

This is just the beginning…
I’ll be expanding into more creative pieces soon (yes, I’m dusting off that fashion design degree 👀)

Sunday morning on the balcony.
Espresso, warm sun on the water, and a white egret wandering the shoreline while I package pieces from the growing collection.
Ten designs so far… maybe more. I’ve stopped counting. 😂

Each one begins as natural clay in my hands, finished with touches of gold leaf and an initial because the pieces are meant to become personal.

These pieces are more than clay and gold.
They carry quiet mornings.
Creative hands.
And a life lived slowly enough to notice the beauty around it.

Turn the volume up to hear the ocean in the background. ⭐️🏖️
Sanding pieces outside while listening to the ocean which is in front of the trees that are my backyard. Make sure to stay to the end to see my studio assistant doing his job… whatever that is. (Freeloader) 😂
That sound will lull us to sleep tonight.

There was a time when I believed success meant moving faster, working harder, proving more.

This is different.

This is natural clay in my hands, shaped slowly in the light. Every necklace begins here: raw earth shaped into organic silhouettes before it ever bears an embossed initial or its gold-leaf finish.

Josie in Bloom was born of a choice for a gentler life. A creative life. One where I don’t force outcomes, I form them.

Each piece will eventually hold someone’s letter, someone’s meaning. But first, it holds intention.

This is how it begins.
