What temperature do you season your cast iron at? 🔥🍳

Ask 10 cast iron collectors and you’ll probably get 10 different answers. Some swear by 450°F, others won’t use anything but 500°F, and a few even season over a fire.

I’m curious…

👇 What’s your go-to temperature, and why?

Do you change it based on the oil you’re using, or do you stick with the same method every time?

Let’s compare notes. There might not be one “right” answer, but there’s always something to learn from other cast iron folks.
