The leaves haven’t started falling just yet, but behind the scenes, magic is already in the making.

We’re excited to announce that our Autumn Collection and Winter Collection will officially be released the week of August 10th!

What scents are coming? We aren’t telling… yet. 😉
What surprises do we have planned? You’ll have to wait and see.

But we can tell you this… while we’ve been busy pouring, blending, and creating, we’ve noticed a certain Holiday Humbug lurking around the workshop. Watching. Waiting. Perhaps even plotting to steal a little seasonal cheer.

Will he succeed? Or will the scents of autumn spices, cozy fires, fresh evergreens, and holiday memories be too much for even him to resist?

Good evening, everyone.

We’ve had several people reach out after our post on Saturday, asking if everything was okay. First and foremost, thank you for your concern, kindness, and support—it truly means more to us than words can express.

On Friday evening, our maker here at Sunshine Scents Candle Co. was transported to the hospital. After testing and evaluation, we learned that they have an aneurysm and a torn artery in their neck. This has understandably been a frightening and overwhelming experience for our family.

As we navigate this medical journey one day at a time, we kindly ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Recovery will be a long process, and our hope is that healing can occur without the need for surgery. Right now, we are focused on taking things one day at a time and following the guidance of the medical team.

We also want to reassure everyone that we are still actively filling orders and operating the business. However, we may be moving a little slower than usual, so we ask for your patience and understanding during this time.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has checked in, sent messages, offered prayers, and shown support. Many of you have become so much more than customers or fellow vendors—you’ve become friends, and we are incredibly grateful for this community.

We unfortunately need to push our perfume launch back to June 14th–20th.

This wasn't an easy decision, and honestly, it wasn't how we planned to spend our weekend. Between work, urgent care visits, the ER, and now the hospital, life threw us an unexpected curveball.

As a small family business, our health has to come first. If we're not healthy, we can't create, pour, package, and deliver the quality products you deserve.

We sincerely apologize for the delay and humbly ask for your understanding as we focus on what matters most right now. We appreciate your patience, support, and continued encouragement more than you know.
