It's what's for dinner...(lazy crock pot meal)
Swamp Potatoes and Sausage
In an oiled crock pot put 2 lbs baby potatoes, 1 C frozen onions and peppers, 1T jarlic (garlic- minced), 1 bag frozen green beans, 1 packet of ranch powder -or equivalent if you make your own like me 😉, 1/2 packet onion soup mix, 1t Cajun seasoning or more if you're so inclined, 1C broth, 1 package of sausage- I used turkey, the kind with two large links- cut into 1/2" disks, 6T butter cut into pieces and placed on top. 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 on high till the potatoes are done.

My first Local Fare Jax Delivery and this produce looks great!
I'm always wary about letting other people pick my produce. I've been burned before by what other shoppers have chosen for me; fruit with soft or bruised spots, wet and spoiling leafy greens, moldy bits in the bottom of the case. None of that here!
Can't wait to share what I make with my haul!

I'm ecstatic to announce that I've made it to the next round! My drink has been selected to compete in a live tasting to become a signature cocktail for Brackish Vodka - this is so surreal! I'm completely overwhelmed with gratitude, knowing that I couldn't have made it this far without the incredible love and support from each and every one of you who voted and believed in me. Your encouragement and enthusiasm mean the world to me, and I feel like I've already won in so many ways. Seeing my community rally around me has filled my heart, and I'm humbled by the outpouring of kindness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - I'm honored to have you all on this journey with me to get through this thing called life! 💖
