Joe and Jasmin are back with a first look at the Phasemation MA-1500, a stunning 300B monaural amplifier built with the precision, beauty, and musicality Phasemation is known for.

In the video, Jasmin installs the tubes while Joe walks through the glass faceplate, metal finish, rear connectors, and the difference between the SA-1500’s 9 watts and the MA-1500’s 10 watts.

Stenheim had a fantastic AXPONA 2026 — and so did we.

There’s always a bit of melancholy when a favorite pair of speakers finds a new home. Earlier this year, my beloved Ultime 2s (featured in our 2025 AXPONA coverage) moved on, leaving a serious void in the room.

Then came AXPONA 2026. Stenheim arrived with updated finishes and refined crossover upgrades for the Ultime 2 lineup, introducing the new Ultime 2 SX.

Cristophe must have noticed the look on my face, because it wasn’t long before the conversation turned into a plan — these speakers were coming to Jacksonville.

We’ve been rebuilding our High End room specifically around the Ultime 2 SX, and by the end of this week, they should be ready for their debut.

Join us! We'll be doing some serious listening early next month at the Synergistic Research event where Ted and Team will be helping us to tune the room and this pair of Stenheim will make their public debut!
