What a storm we had last night! ⛈️

We hope everyone is safe and that your homes and businesses made it through without damage.

If you experienced flooding or water damage, it's important to act quickly. Water can cause damage you can't always see, especially underneath flooring.

If you need professional help, here are two local companies that provide water damage restoration and mold remediation services:

🔹 PuroClean Emergency Services

🔹 All Things Restored, LLC

Stay safe, neighbors! 💙

What do tacos have to do with flooring?

Absolutely nothing. 🌮😂

But it’s National Taco Day, and we’re not about to let that go unnoticed.

So here’s today’s important question:

Heading to the Home & Patio Show this weekend?

It’s a great place to gather ideas and see what’s new for your home.

And if new flooring makes it onto your wish list while you’re there, stop by The Carpet Tree afterward.

Take your time. Look at the options. Ask questions. And get help figuring out what makes sense for your home.

Sometimes inspiration starts at the show.

Then it’s time to figure out what actually works in your house.
We’d be happy to help.

Although, some carpets & flooring now have antimicrobial properties, it's still a good idea to remove your shoes!

Is your home a shoe free zone?

A University of Arizona study found that the average shoe sole carries around 421,000 units of bacteria, including E. coli and other pathogens picked up from public restrooms, sidewalks, and parking lots. 96% of shoe bottoms tested positive for coliform bacteria, and those organisms transfer directly onto home floors with nearly every step.

Carpets can hold those contaminants for weeks. In Japan, South Korea, and most of Scandinavia, removing shoes at the door is simply standard practice. In the US, it is still treated as optional.

What’s one thing about your current floors that makes cleaning harder than it should be?

We’ll go first: flooring that shows every single footprint five minutes after you mop.

It's almost time to decorate for fall! 😉

😂 Replacing your flooring is like going on a blind date - you hope it looks as good in person as it did in the pictures. 🤣
