Art Cart

10/02/2026

You’re invited!! Get your creative juices flowing and break in our new studio with us! All materials are provided so there’s never a barrier to start a new idea. AND our free store is open and stocked full of art and craft supplies so you can continue your creative journey outside of open studio hours.

To make this night even more special, we’re thrilled to host the following vendors from our local creative community:
Junk journaling with communityartstudio
Bookmark making with Official Silent Book Club of Jacksonville, Fl.
Baked goods from Victoria & Nura
Flower stand by Ari, the Flower Lady
and live music by Jack Blankenship

This is a celebration OF and FOR all the folks who give us a reason to exist so we will be accepting donations of gently used art supplies and raising funds for our mission to keep art accessible to everyone 💜

Will we see you there?!

ICYMI, after outgrowing The Mart as we knew it, we had the opportunity to pop over to the studio right across the hall! We are so so sooo excited to be able to offer you all new resources and more space and cannot wait to share it with you all. As a big thank you to everyone who has ever contributed to our mission, we’re hosting a Mart-warming party, outside of weekly open studio, to celebrate our new home and the people that helped build it. We love you 💜

We are so excited to welcome Commonplay | women's sports 👀 into the studio this month! We’re hosting a social crafting WNBA watch party and will be creating our own signs and merch to bring to your next sporting event. This is going to be the ultimate collab between art and athletics so bring a friend and any item to DIY for your favorite home team. See you MARGARET STREET STUDIOS from 6-9pm at 1732 Margaret street

The Mart at MARGARET STREET STUDIOS is your next favorite hidden gem: a safe space and third place for Jacksonville’s fine artists, hobbyists, beginners, and everyone in between. Open studio hours start TOMORROW so come use our supplies and create alongside other artists, bring a current WIP, or take what you need!

We exist because of the generosity and support of this community and the shared goal of giving used materials a new life. We believe creative resources, ideas, and knowledge should be shared freely so donations are always appreciated but never required. We can’t wait to make art with you 💜

Can’t make it on Sundays? We want to hear from you! We want to be accessible to as many people as possible so stay tuned for upcoming local pop-ups and events and let us know in the comments what hours you’d love to see us open!
