Lights On Winsor

As many of you know, Lights on Winsor will not be happening any longer. My dad, John Fuchs, passed away at the beginning of 2021. He got to run the show one last time for Christmas before passing on. He was extremely grateful for all of your participation and kindness over the years.

My dad was the kind of guy who would run the spotlight...not stand in it. He liked seeing people enjoy the lights from afar, but never wanted the attention on himself. He was the true definition of a "giver" and he was happy to include all of you in his crazy electronic dreams.

I hope you all remember my dad's light shows fondly at Christmas time and whenever you see beautiful lights to celebrate the holidays.

Lights on Winsor is done for this year. God willing, I promise a bunch of new songs for next year. At 73 years old I can't promise how much longer it will be around but I'll keep it up as long as I can. Again, the goal for next year is new stuff. Anybody who has suggestions, please let me know. Gotta be "upbeat" and memorable. Thanks for your support!

Hope everyone's Christmas was excellent and the New Year is treating you well! We're a little late getting the videos of this year's show up because we were waiting for snow...that never came! Lights are always much prettier in the snow, don't you think? Here is a link to all thirteen (yes, THIRTEEN!!!) songs from this year's light show! In addition to the new songs, there's always a little tweak to the classics as we add new lights and features. Hope you enjoy and we're looking forward to seeing you for Christmas 2015!

Thank you to everyone who came by to visit the house over the last couple days! We normally had between 2 and 6 cars out front watching the light show, and we're really glad that so many people would take a little time out of their holiday to stop and see the lights.

A lot of people asked if we were taking donations for the electric bill. We sure aren't! The show is a labor of love and a gift to the community. But if you feel you'd like to make a donation, just drop it in a red bucket next to a person ringing a bell or buy a toy for Toys for Tots instead...that's what we'd do with any money we got for doing the light show!

(Also, if you see a 6' tall elf come out of the house, he's not coming to your car to ask for a donation...he just wants to give you some homemade fudge or a cookie.)
