The story of a space that evolved over time with one of my longtime clients…

Step 1 — The “before” (last pic)
When I first walked in years ago, the dining room was nice… but it wasn’t really doing anything. It had good bones, just needed purpose and personality.

Step 2 — The first layer
We started simple:
✨ Swapped in a new mirror to replace existing artwork
✨ Added lamps + fresh accessories to the console

Instantly elevated, more styled, more finished.

Step 3 — The transformation
This is where it all came together…
✨ Custom drapery panels in a beautiful
✨ A statement light fixture from
✨ And the biggest change of all — a fully custom dining room console/desk

My client shared she really needed a functional desk space… but didn’t want to give up her dining room.

So we designed something completely custom with a local cabinet maker:
– Built-in power ✔️
– Lift-top work surface ✔️
– Pocket doors that tuck away when open ✔️

It looks like a beautiful dining console…
…but transforms into a hidden desk when she needs it.

And THIS is why I love what I do —
creating spaces that feel good and work hard behind the scenes.

Design isn’t always one big reveal… sometimes it’s a story told in layers 🩵 Stay tuned to find out where the pink antique console ended up!
