I can't believe it is Sept already. This summer flew by. To all the kids and teachers, have a great school year.
Sept means LOTS of new things to check out. There is a lot going on so I will post them a few things at a time.

Here is another card we did at my Aug Technique Tuesday Class. I wanted to use the 167221 Last Chance FRAMED ALL AROUND PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET (ENGLISH) before it was gone. It is on the Last Chance List and when it is gone, IT IS GONE! This is such a simple card but very calming at the same time. You can change up the sentiment and color to use for anything. For the background, I used the 166974 BEAUTIFULLY CELEBRATED DIES and cut out the center to use as my stencil. I love this die set but the stamps that goes with it, 166968 Last Chance BEAUTIFULLY CELEBRATED PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET (ENGLISH) is on the Last Chance List as well. Good Morning Everyone,

I saw this technique done by Patty Bennett and wanted to share it with my class. This is an Eclipse Technique. We stamped the big flower from the 170053 Bundled Savings SWEETLY SENTIMENTAL BUNDLE (ENGLISH) and used all the coordinating stamps to fill in the colors in this 2 stepped stamping technique. Hope did I get 2 different colors on the flowers you ask? I inked up the flower stamp with 147094 DAFFODIL DELIGHT CLASSIC STAMPIN' PAD and then took a sponge dabber and dapped a little 147101 CALYPSO CORAL CLASSIC STAMPIN' PAD on some of the edges. I like how that turned out. For the leaves, I inked up the stamps with 147095 GRANNY APPLE GREEN CLASSIC STAMPIN' PAD and then colored in the white areas with 161682 LEMON LIME TWIST STAMPIN’ BLENDS COMBO PACK. Do you like that technique? What makes this an Eclipse Technique is cutting the center of the flower out using the 170064 FLOURISH & FRAMES HOT FOIL DIES and then adding some black on the edges of the cut out with 154843 BASIC BLACK STAMPIN' BLENDS COMBO PACK. Then I also added black on the outside edge of the matt as well. I used the sentiments from the Sweetly Sentimental after I Hot Foil them using the 170009
STAMPIN' HOT FOIL SYSTEM NA & CRAFT CLASS with 170066 GOLD STAMPIN' HOT FOIL ROLLS on 122925 Sale CALYPSO CORAL 8-1/2" X 11" CARDSTOCK.
