I think that card #13 is my favorite out of all the cards I made this year. I used the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle for this card. This bundle is extra special because you can make the die impressions so much deeper when you use the 167767 Impressions Plate so the designs really stand out. The background was from the Shimmering Stripes Specialty paper.

Good Morning Everyone,

For card #10 from my Marathon, the Scalloped Christmas Cheer Bundle took center stage. I really like the big, bold sentiment stamped on the scalloped die. I cut back the size of the die, so it didn't cover up the beautiful sparkling paper. Look closely at the background. I embossed it with the Softly Woven embossing folder.

Good Morning Everyone,

I had my not so beginner Beginners Class on Tuesday. I turned this class into a class to learn more about doing the Hot Foil System. There is nothing worse than getting a new product and once you get it, you are trying to figure out how to use it. So we did this class from scratch. I did not prep anything, and we did all the steps to make these beautiful cards. We decided as a group which bundles to use, the color combinations and the theme for the cards. I also wanted to use the 170041 Sale GARDEN SILHOUETTE HOT FOIL DIE On Sale for $31.45 (regular price $37.00}, to show them how easy it is to do the reverse hot foiling on a card so there is no waste. The arched cards used the negative of the 1st card foil. We used 167691 PEACEFUL PINE 8-1/2" X 11" CARDSTOCK and the 170068 LIGHT PINK STAMPIN' HOT FOIL ROLLS for our color combination. What do you think? I thought they turned out really good. Thank you, Rhonda and Debbie #3 for coming to learn this system and helping to create these cards.
