• Added full-length curtains to soften the space
• Balanced the room with better layout + scale
• Brought in calm, cohesive bedding

This living room had the space… it just didn’t have the moment.

So we created one 👇
• Anchored the room with a properly scaled sectional
• Layered in texture with a larger rug
• Warmed everything up with soft, cohesive tones

Now it actually feels like a place you want to sit and stay awhile 🤍

✨ AFTER ✨

From closed-off and dated…
to open, warm, and completely transformed.

What changed:
• Open layout = better flow + more light
• Updated finishes = fresh but still warm
• Island = functional AND a focal point
• Everything now works with the home instead of against it

And that’s the goal every time 👇

✨ THE PLAN ✨

Here’s where everything came together.

We designed this space to:
• Feel open but still defined
• Work with the existing beam (not fight it)
• Keep warmth while lightening everything up

Key features:
✔️ Large island with seating
✔️ Clean-lined cabinetry
✔️ Updated lighting + finishes
✔️ Better flow into the living space

And most importantly…
👉 A layout that actually makes sense for how they live.

📌 PINTEREST vs REALITY (the plan)

Here’s what the homeowner was drawn to 👇
• Warm wood tones
• Clean white countertops
• Open, airy layout
• A little mid-century / organic modern feel

But here’s the thing most people miss—
👉 Pinterest doesn’t show YOUR house.

So we took that inspiration and translated it into:
✔️ The existing structure
✔️ The beam placement
✔️ The layout constraints
✔️ Real-life functionality

Because good design isn’t copying…
it’s adapting.

🔨 DEMO DAY 🔨
This is where everything changed.

That boxed-in kitchen?
Gone.

We opened up the space to:
• Bring in natural light
• Connect it to the living area
• Let those ceilings actually shine

Demo is messy… loud… chaotic…
and honestly? One of our favorite stages 😅

Because THIS is where the transformation starts.

✨ BEFORE ✨
This kitchen had good bones… but it was completely closed off and stuck in another decade.

• Heavy dark cabinetry
• Yellow tile backsplash
• Choppy layout that cut it off from the rest of the home

And the biggest issue?
👉 The architecture (vaulted ceilings + beams) wasn’t being used to its full potential.

This space should have felt open, bright, and connected… but it didn’t.
