Well… we didn’t fall off the face of the earth, but it sure looks like we did! 😂✈️🌲

No posts. No pictures. No new products. No trying to sell anything. Just… silence.

And honestly? We needed it.

We took an amazing trip out West, and it’s one I’ll never forget. ❤️ We flew into California and hit the road, exploring Sequoia National Park, Three Rivers, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Squaw Valley (where the Winter Olympics were held in 1960!), and Old Sacramento.

By the time it was all said and done, we had walked and hiked 70 miles and driven 1,100 miles! 😳🏔️🌲 Needless to say, we came home with tired feet, full hearts, and enough pictures to keep us reminiscing for a long time!

But this trip reminded me of something important…

Sometimes, we all need to step away and just LIVE a little. ❤️

When we’re home, we’re usually working. This little business of ours is something we LOVE doing together. It’s our hobby, our creative outlet, and something we’ve built with our own hands. And I never want it to become something that feels like a job we have to do.

Sometimes, keeping up with social media makes me feel like I’m constantly supposed to post something, promote something, or sell something. And that’s never what I want this business to be about, either.

I want to create things we love, share them with people who appreciate handmade, and enjoy the process along the way. I want to share the fun, the behind-the-scenes moments, and the things that inspire us — without feeling like everything has to be about making a sale.

So, while it may have looked like we disappeared for a little while, we’re still here! 😉 We’re still creating, still doing what we love, and still located at Etc & Co. 🖤

We just took a little time to fill our own cups, make some memories, and enjoy an adventure together.

I’m going to share a few of my favorite pictures because this trip was just too beautiful not to share! 📸❤️
