Another project completed! 🎉 Jobs like these are always exciting and special to do. This is in a historic building on downtown main st. We have a sister building next to it, where we will repeat the process in a couple of weeks. Reclaimed skip sawn 5” white oak! Sealed with flex sealer and finished with 2 coats of ultra matte 🦜

Working on some repairs in a rental apartment. The price of having renters is sometimes overlooked. Making sure you have protectors on the legs of each piece of furniture helps with the risk of heavy gouges and scratches. Real wood makes it possible to do spot repairs and replacements.

One of our favorite projects of the year. We were tasked with replacing this water damaged floor and installing it back to the original design from the late 1800’s. This house was once used as a doctors office and turned into the main residence of the Dr in the early 1900’s. Sadly, after a water pipe burst in the upstairs, the floor buckled and was too thin to resand and coat. After demo, we sanded the subfloor, waterproofed it and installed with a glue assist. 3 weeks later, we put down our final coat of oil base satin finish and we are thrilled with the result. We used a combination of white oak, American cherry and maple for the inlay border. Grateful to have done the job, but glad we are finished!

✨New Herringbone installation ✨

This area had water damage on the previous hardwood.
We were able to remove the water damaged wood, and install new hardwood design in place of it to avoid having to replace the entire floor. What a fun project!
