An Easter table from a few years ago. I started with green leaf placemats, added white scalloped chargers, and layered in my favorite black and white checked dinner plates. From there, it was all about the details, mixing salad plates for a little personality, adding small bowls for fruit, and using simple white napkins and place cards that hold memories from gatherings past.
The flowers came straight from the yard, Red Bud, daffodils, and crab apple blossoms. I finished it with a few MacKenzie-Childs touches to tie it all together.
I’ve never believed a table needs to match perfectly. Just that it should feel thoughtful, layered, and full of things you love.

When I’m setting an Easter table, I don’t follow rules, but I do tend to come back to a good foundation, layered pieces, a few meaningful details… and something a little unexpected.
It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to feel like you.
Save this for later if you’re hosting this season 🤍

When someone asks how to decorate, I say begin with the things you love and let them share the room. 🐾

Our four legged family members are so important to us and have brought so much joy to our lives. They are here with us for such a short time, it doesn’t seem fair. 🌈 This past weekend, we had to say goodbye to Miss Sugar, who was almost 16 years old. She was such a sweetie and had such a funny personality. We will always be grateful for her unconditional devotion, her funny little walk and her happy, and sometimes bossy, yaps.

I’m drawn to cozy nooks and small projects, and this cold snap felt like the right time to refresh the little alcove leading to our primary bedroom. Softer lamp glow, a rebalanced gallery, and a few favorite pieces brought forward. The door is a favorite detail and it has a past life you might recognize. I’ll tell the full story in a reel coming soon. Any guesses where it came from?

When I was 11, I started collecting and never really stopped. I learned to honor what has been loved and to reimagine it for today. That is the spirit behind Le Bee at Home.

Here I'll share rooms that feel curated and styling tips that grow one piece at a time, along with a few Annie Sloan Chalk Paint projects.

Finding your style takes time and finding it will make you feel at home. If this is your language, follow along. I'Il save similar finds and my paint notes too!

I love how heirlooms anchor a room. 📜 When you mix old with new, it feels timeless instead of trendy. A little lodge, a little library with trophies repurposed and the kind of plaid that never asks for the spotlight but always steals it. I’ve always believed if you love it now, you’ll love it later because the most interesting rooms feel lived-in, not staged. I’ll break down the layers and share all the details soon.

📚Need just one or two more anchor pieces to pull the room together? I gathered a handful of similar finds from at the link in my bio.
