Aspens of Gratitude | APPT Blog Hop

🌿 Welcome to another APPT Blog Hop! This month we’re playing with the Aspens of Gratitude Paper Pumpkin Kit, and I decided to take the kit pieces and give them a little PaperTales twist. The Aspens of Gratitude Paper Pumpkin kit includes supplies to create 10 cards—5 each of 2 designs—along with 10 envelopes, precut pieces, and self-adhesive gems. And of course… I couldn’t just leave well enough alone....

With the Aspens of Gratitude Kit, I wanted to create something that felt like you could actually step into that little autumn forest.

💜 WHY ACCESS? 💜

Today, I want to talk about something bigger than crafting.

ACCESS provides support to people impacted by domestic violence and other forms of abuse. They help individuals and families find safety, support, resources, and a path forward when life takes a difficult turn.

Sometimes, the hardest part isn’t knowing you need help. It’s knowing where to turn, who to trust, or whether there’s somewhere safe to go. Having an organization like ACCESS available can make a tremendous difference when someone is facing those moments.

This cause is personal to me. As a survivor of domestic violence, I know how important it is to have support and to know you’re not alone. 💜 I also know that everyone’s story is different, and no one should have to navigate those difficult moments without help.

That’s one of the reasons I chose to support ACCESS through my Craft Create Share fundraiser this October. Yes, we’ll be crafting, creating, and having some fun along the way (Sweed wouldn’t have it any other way 😂), but this is about so much more than handmade cards or craft supplies.

It’s about helping support an organization that serves people in our community when they need it.

💜 Today, I’m asking you to take a minute to learn about ACCESS and share this post. You never know who might need this information, or who might know someone who does.

Sometimes, simply knowing where to turn can be the beginning of something better.

💜🐾 THE SECRET IS FINALLY OUT! 🐾💜

Sweed and I are officially kicking off CREATE • CRAFT • SHARE — From Our Craft Room for Our Community!

And now you finally know what all that purple has been about. 😂💜

From October 6 through November 6, PaperTales is supporting ACCESS Assault Care Center Extending Shelter & Support.

There are several ways you can be part of the fundraiser:

💜 Shop with PaperTales: 10% of my commissions will be donated to ACCESS.

🎄 Home for Christmas Retreat Bundle: 15% of the bundle price will be donated to ACCESS.

✂️ Special fundraiser class: Coming later this week, with 15% donated to ACCESS.

💜 Direct donation: You can donate directly to ACCESS, and as a thank-you, I’ll email you a FREE PDF of my Under My Wing Tutorial.

And this is just the beginning.

Throughout October, I’ll be sharing more about ACCESS, what they do, the people they serve, and why this organization is so important.

🐾 And of course… Sweed has already decided he’s in charge.

He may have also mashed up a few holiday cards with some very purple color choices. 😂🎄💜

The Chaos Supervisor has a fundraiser to launch… and apparently, he also has opinions about holiday cards. 😂

Tonight, we’re kicking off Create • Craft • Share, supporting ACCESS Assault Care Center Extending Shelter & Support!

We’ll share what the fundraiser is all about, how you can get involved, and show you a few cards that Sweed has mashed up with holiday fun and some unexpected colors. 🎄💜
