Bet you didn’t know we will hold back some of the flower when we do an order… just to confirm the vase life.

These roses are now going on three weeks in a vase. They’re held back from a wedding. We have only added fresh water to the vase and not re- cut, just to confirm what many people do when they have flowers- just add water.

They’ve opened beautifully, and will most likely be here by the end of the week. We always suggest giving a *fresh cut - and then add fresh water to the vase*

Our goal is quality and a long vase life— as always, thanks for following and supporting our small business. We truly appreciate you.

And YES, she did get third- in only her third time competing!

The second best part of this whole weekend was- Brittany’s parents drove 7 hours from Missouri to be a part of her big weekend.

They got to see the beautiful designs she created which got her into the top four to compete in the finals. Brittany has truly worked so hard to expand and refine her skills, pushes herself, and she definitely accepts a good challenge. She’s a natural.

CONGRATULATIONS, Brittany!!!!!!! You definitely deserve it!

We’ve had a great time with our Flower Friends at the Kentucky Floral Association’s Convention.

Hello, Flower Friends!!!

Just a quick note to let everyone know- The shop will be closed this weekend-
Friday and Saturday- while we attend the
Kentucky Florist’s Association Convention.

We’re sad to disappoint or inconvenience you-
but floral education is a must- and being with our flower family is like US receiving flowers.

Thanks for understanding and looking forward to sharing what we’re up to over the weekend.

If anyone happened to witness our shop van getting side swiped sometime between Saturday 5/23 and late afternoon Sunday5/24 - please let us know.

It appears to have been a black vehicle or at least a black bumper- possibly a truck or high sitting vehicle. They possibly tried to parallel park into a space behind our van- but that’s just our guess- and unless someone saw otherwise, we’ll never know the truth. If anyone is aware of cameras that may have caught the side swipe- please let us know.

Needless to say- they didn’t have the decency to do the right thing and let us know.
