It has been a year and a half since I have posted, and now felt like as good of a time as any to start back. So much has changed in that time - new town, new house, new baby - a whole lot to be thankful for.

I thought this sweet nursery nook was a thing of the past when we moved our youngest to his own room. Luckily we just got to bring it back when "staging" our house to sell. 💙 Look out for some big before and afters as we say goodbye to the house we renovated into our home these last 8 years.

Our client was ready for a fresh start, but painting the walls would require repainting multiple rooms due to an open layout. So we developed a scheme that would work with our proposed lighter paint scheme with bold accent wall, or keeping the existing green walls. Home is truly our world these days, many of us are there 24/7 and it has become our offices, our restaurants, our gyms, our schools, and everything in between. Making sure your bedroom is a sanctuary and a place to retreat to is paramount right now. This Master Bedroom design came together perfectly for our clients. It's a smaller room with a king size bed, but the natural light and beautiful trim details really make it special. We kept a neutral palette to let the contrast trim stand out but the layered textures and tones really make this a room to look forward to spending time in!

Happy Monday! I've been hesitant to share work lately, there's just so much going on.. but I honestly feel like everyone's doing their best to keep some resemblance of normal life if they're blessed enough to be safe and healthy. So here's a little mood board I put together for a client... I can't decide if it's more exciting to push your client, or yourself, outside of their comfort zone? Regardless, loving this high contrast, yet neutral, living room.

Would you believe that a short time ago this fireplace (mantel not included) was hiding behind purple painted drywall?? We couldn't either so we knocked down the drywall, spruced up the brick, and added a salvaged mantel and shelves - more progress photos in our stories. The former owners used this as a dining room, but now it's a cozy family room open to the dining room and kitchen! ---> for the BEFORE!
