Sometimes, when you’re out searching for uncommon things, you stumble upon the crème de la crème.

This striking ceramic tile featuring the iconic Chrysler Building is one of those finds. Created by Michigan artist Doug Spaulding, it’s a beautiful example of his bold architectural designs and rich, handcrafted glazing.

A Melting Clock’s Journey
This incredible Salvador Dalí-inspired Melting Clock took a little trip to the clock hospital, and thanks to the talented crew at The Clock Place in Green Bay, Wisconsin, it came back with a brand-new heart and is ticking beautifully once again!

A huge shoutout to David Birschbach and Kurt Ploeger for their expertise, patience, and kindness. They treated this unique piece with the care it deserved, and now it’s running like a top and ready to rock just in time for Junk Jaunt!

And because every good restoration story needs a great supporting cast, we were also fortunate to have a Vietnam veteran there providing moral support, encouragement, and plenty of good conversation along the way. Moments like these remind me that the best part of this business isn’t just the treasures—it’s the people.

I can’t say enough how incredibly grateful I am for the friends and family (and hopefully new friends) that have stood beside me .. loved and supported this imperfect person that just had a dream with hopes to spread my love of vintage with others. I truly couldn’t do it without you. 💛
