So excited to see this play and support the amazing work of Angie Hyche, Author and Speaker this weekend!

We love to help our clients work through this process and all the difficult decisions that come with it. I love that this play is bringing more awareness to the process, and having a Professional Organizer support you through it ❤

To donate, or not to donate—that is the question!

Professional organizer Lori Jenson, owner of LJ's Organizing Solutions, and her mother Ruth Gregory are often at odds about the decisions. In fact, i's not unusual for conflict about belongings to cause drama in a family. Come see the drama about the fondue set and much more on stage soon!

"Packing Up the Past" will be performed from October 16-18 with Kingsport Theatre Guild at the Renaissance Center in Kingsport. You can buy tickets on the Kingsport Theatre Guild website (kingsporttheatre.com).

Read at your own emotional risk 😬
A series of reminders for anyone who keeps “just in case” things a little too long (ahem, my husband).

Sometimes it’s not about organizing better, it’s about letting go of the stuff that’s quietly taking up space.

Share this with someone who needs one of these reminders… and save it for the next time that box looks a little too good to discard 😉

I warned you it was a horror story 👻

The whole thing is scary. The mounting expectations, growing expenses, and life in a constant survival mode.

It took a village, long before life got this complicated. Before we took in more information in a day, than some Baby Boomers did in a year. Before salad mix was a GLP-1 and our deodorant, cookware, and clothing were “poison”.

I’ve lived both sides of it. I know life in survival mode as a working mom, but the last part is the worst for me.

I’m imagining that moment when you reached out, because I know it so well. I’m wishing I could be that help you need. Because I am confident in our work.

So, when you do that night time scroll. Save the contact info for the company you reached out to. Psst…You can do this from Google Maps.

Set a reminder to follow up, and focus on the outcome. So when you speak on the phone, you can describe your goals in such detail. “Clear counters, “decanted essentials”, etc. You can run towards that whole-heartedly, with a Professional leading the way.

Because Part 2 of this horror story… looks a lot like part one.

So spare yourself the sequel.

We love to make the spaces we work, both functional AND aesthetically pleasing. From our work home, to yours.

When you feel good in your space, you realize how life-changing organization can be.

What you need, right where you need it.

Yucky gold, black mold, patched flooring, and pipes to nowhere… now a distant memory.

Just a space that supports how you want to live.

This closed tab was me putting the final touches on this space. A few more pieces of decor (all functional) and a pop of personality with our hanging planter. A planter that used to disguise a hole in the ceiling 😂 Paint to touch up an old sign previous tenants painted around on the door 🤪 and so much more! It feels good to call this complete.

Shout out to the team members that helped me bring this vision to life Jeramie Jordan and Lori Elizabeth Harper ❤️

I think it was 5 years ago. I heard this quote on this platform. Now, I turn 40 on October 30th, and I’ve got far more than 40 tabs open.

Some are promises I made to myself or tasks I swore I’d tackle… years ago. Some are promises I made to other people. Some are the roles and systems my business has needed for a while. All of them have been quietly running in the background, taking up space I don’t have (Mentally and physically).

So this month I’m closing them. One at a time, out loud, right here.

It’s going to require me to be selfish with my time, which feels so foreign to me. But being the yes person for everyone except myself hasn’t given me a life where I feel comfortable or fulfilled.

And let’s be honest, it was technically no-longer “people pleasing” if it meant not following through on a promise. Same with saying “yes” because I feared that I would disappoint someone. The half-hearted yes and volunteering my time, is just not anything I can follow through with… juggling a business, home and young family. And honesty now, is better than disappointment when I can’t deliver.

All the “open tabs” pour gasoline on my daily executive dysfunction fire. It all feels equally as urgent and completely overwhelming. Everyday, I look around at “to do items”, not the beautiful home we’ve built. It impacts how present I can be with friends and family and how often I truly let myself rest. I’m not proud to admit, it has become very rare.

I self-soothe with productivity, caffeine and determination…but that is not sustainable.

Excited to share some office projects in the next few days, those are some of the first tabs I’ve closed since deciding to challenge myself this month.

I’ll share the highlights and how it feels to close each one. The first tabs are already closed.

What’s one tab you’ve left open too long? Tell me below. 👇

From small space clean-outs to Carrie Bradshaw closets, we organize it all.

Every closet comes with its own challenges, whether that’s maximizing a smaller space or creating strategic zones and systems for a client who has such a beautiful space and wardrobe. Designing each closet around the way our client lives is what we do best. The aesthetics are just icing on the cake 😉

We’re so grateful for every client who trusts us to organize the space where they start and end their day. Swipe to see some of this beautiful closet organization. We had so much fun re-structuring shelving and styling our sweet client’s closet during this refresh session! ❤️

Fall is the perfect time to declutter and organize your closet as we switch from our summer to winter wardrobes. Click the link to contact us today for your free discovery call.

He’ll also put snacks away with one bite left…LIKE A MONSTER 🙄 He knows better than to do that with ice cream because that would be grounds for divorce 😂. I mean, who would that ever be a an appropriate serving-size for?! 🐜

No, my fridge doesn’t always look like this, but I LOVE when it does! Ready to grab, breakfast, lunches and supper. Less decision fatigue and dishes during the week! ❤️

Who is meal prepping this weekend? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Reflecting a lot today on a lot of amazing clients I’ve had the pleasure of working with this past year 🥺🥰

We’ve jammed to Taylor while beautifying spaces, we’ve enjoyed delicious desserts, amazing discussions and we’ve cleared so many donations. We’ve made space, life-long friends and have shared many laughs in our light-hearted process.

In a year of so so much hard. These amazing homes and humans have been something I’ve appreciated even more. And I can’t thank y’all enough for being part of this journey, both past and present ❤️

Every experience, prospect, project and personality has taught me so much. So, now that I have been in business for almost 3 years, so much has changed how I do business. But not the heart of the business.

We are selective with our clients, and carefully curate our services to ensure our work can truly transform lives in a way that is sustainable. We’ve poured into marketing, client experience, refining our team and signature process…

The reward of all that work has lead to some amazing humans, work and experiences. Work that feels really incredible to have the opportunity to do.

Thank you for all of your support that helps us do what we do best 🥰❤️

We are potentially weeks away from…
that first day of the school year when kids wear jeans. And let me tell you right now. That would be a terrible day to learn how many inches they’ve grown since you purchased their last set of pants. So, let’s get ahead of this.

In the next week, I’ll be editing my kid’s closets to clear out old sizes. Who is doing this with me (in spirit)? Let me know in the comments.

For those who need to hire my team. Click the link below to tell us a bit more about your organizing needs. We’ll get you scheduled for a free discovery call. We’ll chat about how we can declutter, space plan, organize and even upgrade your closets while we’re there!

Swipe to see one of my favorite kid’s closet transformations for some amazing friends 🥰
