Designed for Style and Sleep

This vibrant bunk room was designed to make every overnight stay feel like an adventure without sacrificing comfort or style. Set beneath a beadboard ceiling and filled with natural light, the room combines custom sleeping arrangements with bold, playful details. Twin-over-twin bunk beds maximize the available space, while a full-size platform bed allows the room to comfortably accommodate additional guests. A deep green accent wall grounds the space, while crisp white walls and ceilings keep it feeling bright and open. Burnt orange pillows, graphic black-and-white patterns, and colorful artwork bring energy and personality to the room.
Natural materials add warmth throughout. A rustic wood nightstand, woven pendant light, modern rattan cabinet, and layered rugs create a relaxed, collected feel. Travel-inspired details, including wooden airplane propellers and an abstract map, reinforce the room’s sense of exploration. Rolled towels, woven baskets, and carefully layered textiles give the space a welcoming, ready-for-guests finish. Playful enough for children, polished enough for adults, and designed to make the most of every square foot.

A Bathroom Designed for Light, Balance, and Daily Use

This bathroom was designed to feel calm, refined, and highly functional. Every decision, from the layout to the material selections, was made to create balance without overcomplicating the space.

A custom vanity built by Travis Holt of Holt Custom Cabinets anchors the room. Its muted blue finish adds depth and personality, while warm brass hardware and a Golden Fantasy quartz countertop introduce contrast, movement, and durability. A full-width mirror selected by the homeowners reflects the natural light from the surrounding windows and visually expands the room. Multi-arm sconces add warmth and structure without feeling overly decorative. The freestanding tub was positioned against a wall of windows, creating a light-filled focal point. Blue brick tile wraps the shower and tub walls, bringing consistency and depth throughout the bathing area. A horizontal stone mosaic adds texture, while the shower’s clean lines, built-in niche, and brass glass hardware provide a subtle modern edge.

Scott Henley of Henley Construction and Development, Inc. brought the design to life with precision, clean transitions, and careful attention to detail.

The finished space is bright, balanced, and intentionally designed to work beautifully in everyday life.

A Music Room Designed for Living, Learning, and Flexibility 🎹
This project began with a complete reconfiguration of the home’s existing layout. Neither the music room nor the adjoining bathroom previously existed. Both spaces were thoughtfully created within the home to serve the homeowners today while preparing for what they may need in the future.

New French doors give the music room a sense of arrival. A black upright piano anchors the space, framed by custom built-in shelving crafted by Travis Holt of Holt Custom Cabinets. A rolling library ladder adds function and character, giving the room a collected, timeless quality. Sherwin-Williams Steamed Milk provides a warm, cohesive backdrop that allows the natural wood tones, books, and instruments to take center stage. The room was intentionally planned for long-term flexibility. If the homeowners decide to use it as a main-level bedroom, the piano can be removed and a bed p laced in its location without requiring the space to be redesigned. The new adjoining bathroom was created to support that possibility. Its layout provides additional space that can accommodate future mobility needs or disabilities if needed. A custom painted Sherwin-Williams Clary Sage introduces a soft, grounded color, complemented by warm brass fixtures and hardware. Beveled shower tile creates texture through light and shadow, while a pebble-style shower floor adds a calm, organic element. Every detail was considered so these newly created spaces feel as though they have always belonged in the home.

They say the cobbler’s kids have no shoes… and the interior designer’s house is never finished.
But little by little, she’s getting there. ❤️
Finally gave my dining room some love with a beautiful mural, a few special pieces, and the sweetest corner cabinet found on a little adventure. I think she was worth the wait.

Designed for a homeowner who loves to cook, this kitchen blends function, warmth, and craftsmanship. Solid hickory cabinetry was used throughout to create a timeless and durable space.

One of my favorite details is the custom tea area. While still using hickory cabinetry, we made this space feel unique with glass cabinet fronts, hand painted tile, and custom curved cabinetry above the tea station with a pot filler.

Because cooking is such a big part of their home, we incorporated two sinks to create separate prep and working areas.
The stools and dining table were selected by the homeowners and beautifully crafted by Amish builders, adding another layer of character to the space.

This kitchen means so much to me.
What used to be a small, closed-off space is now open, warm, and made for gathering. We took down walls and completely reimagined how this family lives in their home.
The wife loves to cook and hosts quite often, so we designed it to function beautifully. Two sinks (one in the island and one along the back wall), solid hickory cabinets, brass fixtures, and Taj Mahal countertops that just glow against those rich wood tones brought this space together beautifully.
The tea area was something they really wanted to feel different, so I designed custom door details, cabinet hardware, hand painted tiles, and glass doors to showcase her tea pot collection to set it apart. Travis Holt with Holt Custom Cabinets brought every single detail to life exactly as envisioned. He truly listened to it all.
Scott Henley with Henley Construction and Development Inc. handled the construction and transformed the flow of this home in the best way.
The dining table and stools were chosen by them, Amish-made and custom designed just for their big family. And so many of the pieces you see... the fireplace accents, the clock...they all are meaningful heirlooms. She didn’t want just newly purchased décor. She wanted the pieces to have significance. It all came together in a way that just feels layered, warm, and deeply personal.
