Welcome to Resin by Megin! Thank you for visiting.
My name is Megin and I have been an artist my entire life. My college degree is for Art and Design. I’m also an aspiring makeup artist. If there’s an art or craft, you name it, I’ve probably tried it, twice!
I found a love for resin art a year ago and started with two part epoxy resin. I did research and spent countless hours watching tutorials online. After I mastered the “what not to do’s” of epoxy I started to have fun with it.
I also added UV resin to my repertoire and enjoy that as well. It’s nice having experience with both types of resin so I know the pros and cons of both.
I was creating every day pieces and had an amazing friend ask if I’ve ever worked with ashes. I hadn’t, so back to the internet! 🤓
I made practice pieces with my beautiful cat Misty’s ashes. Right then I knew this was my niche. I loved the look. I loved how easily the creativity flowed from me. I loved that I could appreciate Misty a lot more than just looking at an engraved box with her ashes inside.
My heart is filled with warmth every time I look at her pendant. She’s back where she belongs, close to my heart. I need to share that feeling with others that have lost a loved one. 💜
I work with pet and human cremains. I also offer everyday resin pieces and art without cremains.
I have a wide variety of options and supplies. We collaborate together to create a custom piece you designed! The possibilities are endless and I’m always willing to try new things!
