Why do we put a bean on top of every candle? I was asking myself this at 5:00 this morning too….

That little soybean is our way of showing you what’s inside every Country Lights candle. 100% soy wax. Soy gives you a cleaner, slower and more fragrant burn.

Just as importantly to us, it keeps our candles connected to our agricultural roots.

Consider the beans officially spilled.

Unfortunately the boxes we receive our wax in just don’t fit for shipping out final products. Trust me, I’ve tried.

Fortunately we found a good use for them at the local food pantry. Glad they can be reused rather than just hitting the recycling bin.

Fall candle season starts now!

Today I’m prepping for our fall pours by filling our large wax melter with nearly 500 pounds of wax. Once it’s melted, the pouring begins as we stock our shelves and get ready for fall fundraising season.
