Artist Statement:
I have been cutting and splitting and burning wood for over 50 years. That was the way I heated my home. I started seeing interesting wood workers on the internet and realized wood could also be decorative and useful. The most interesting pieces were often knotted an gnarly. I started looking for these. The beauty was there, I just had to find it in each piece. I hope people appreciate and find the beauty in the art of nature.
