Since we were little, we have always enjoyed making items for our family and friends. Our dream in life was to have a business together - it didn’t matter what it was, we just wanted to run it together. As life so often turns out, we put that dream on hold to pursue separate careers - one cellular biology and the other mathematics. But in 2018 everything changed. Our older brother, Eric, was diagn
osed with Leukemia. After months of fighting courageously he lost his battle a year later. Eric was more than just a brother, he was our friend, our mentor, and the one person we admired the most. He taught us to always follow our dreams, live our lives, and work hard at everything we do. As it has for many, losing our big brother changed our lives forever. Certain things just didn’t seem as important anymore. So, after careful consideration, we decided to pursue our life long dream of starting our own business. We are the Giardino (garden) TwinsE. The letter “E” is in memory of our brother Eric who always just called us “twins”. As he wrote so perfectly to us: “Enjoy this time and keep seeking the purpose of this journey in good faith. It is all a gift, a praiseworthy gift that in the end will be worth every step…And so the next step begins.”
