🙏STILL NEED 1️⃣7️⃣5️⃣ to meet angel match challenge 🙏🙏

Hi everyone, it’s me Athena. I am trying to drive my human mom crazy……but seriously I know everyone is worried about me and praying. THANK YOU, I NEED THEM❣️

The surgeon called mom tonight to tell her I am walking better on my leg which is good. There wasn’t fluid in the joint tonight when they went in. They flushed it again and injected it with more antibiotics, additionally I am on IV antibiotics. My cough was getting worse so they ultrasound my lungs and I have pneumonia. 2 legged mom smacked her head a few times hearing this🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️and said “oh yay us😩”. But the antibiotics I am on should help with both my lungs and leg so mom is trying not to panic too much. (She isn’t doing a very good job, but she is trying).

The surgeon commented on what a good patient I am being, I even stood without sedation for them to ultrasound my lungs. Plus as long as my momma Wednesday can see me she is allowing them to work with me. However, ALL bets are off if you try to move me out of her sight. She IS a mustang momma after all and I AM very loved🥰.

Dr. wants to take me back to surgery on Saturday and check my joint again. If still no fluid then likely I won’t need to do that again🙏🤞.

Dr. didn’t know my total with todays charges so will let my 2 legged momma know in the morning, but since my bill was close to 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ before today’s procedure mom is back to panic mode about how to pay for today and Saturday…..oh and since I’m on IV antibiotics I need to complete the course which means I will need to stay at least 5 more days.😬😷🥴🤑🫣

I want to thank everyone who has already sent a donation to help keep me alive.🙏💗. If you can help me I would really appreciate it. I can win this battle if I get the medical care I need. Unfortunately the rescue doesn’t have the funds without your help. Even 5️⃣ helps me and means I get to keep fighting, to keep living.🙏🙏🙏
