(heavy sigh & a few tears…)

If you were here early last evening, you saw it was a bit emotional for me. 😢 Your kind words and tokens of appreciation meant the world to me and took me a bit off guard. But I was able to rally quickly and enjoy the magic of the evening. 🎄

I put together a little reel that looks back over the years; from those very first “starter” candles to what Perfect Scents grew into. It’s been quite a journey, and I’m so grateful for everyone who helped me along the way… my friends who ALWAYS showed up when I needed them, and my husband who supported me through every late night & early morning, every open house, and every bad mood during wick testing!!! 😖

One of the things that means the most to me is remembering all the faces that came through my doors; from the very young to the very old. The friendships I’ve made through Perfect Scents are truly some of the biggest blessings of this whole adventure. And I’ve been grateful to collaborate with so many wonderful small businesses who lifted me up and helped this little dream grow.

I’ve been honored to create candles for life’s sweetest moments — weddings, baby showers, engagement announcements, and custom labels made with love. And I’ll never forget the hundreds of candles that went to the Army National Guard — what an honor that was.

Knowing that my candles are burning in homes all across the country still fills me with so much gratitude. It reminds me just how far this journey has carried me. And who knows… you never know what the future holds or where Perfect Scents might pop up next. ❤️

Tonight's open house was such a great time, and it was so good seeing everyone! 🥰 If you couldn't make it, no worries; there are still plenty of candles to choose from, several disinfectant sprays, room sprays, and a few body scrubs left. Come on by Saturday 8am-10am! For now, goodnight all! 🥱
