100 Stitches for 100 Fridays: the Basket Weave Stitch 🧺

A fun stitch made with double crochets that gives the image of turning all over to weave through the rows!

Important info:

As we near closer to the fall, we haven't found a new Coordinator for Chase the Chill Southwest Missouri. Unfortunately, this means two things.

1) There will not be an event for 2026.
2) Crocheters can still spread kindness by putting their own items out this winter to help those in need.

As for classes, I am still willing to keep teaching, and classes will continue to be non-for-profit, costing only for supplies when needed.

This will be the last year for us to have classes at the local library. We need to find a place that we can use without a charge as there is no funds or profit to pay for booking fees, unless I start charging people, which I'm not willing to do.

As always, keep crocheting, knitting, and spreading this beautiful hobby! Small acts of kindness from handmade gifts for those around you will always be worth more than gold! 🥰

What an adventure this blanket was! 🤩

A commissioned piece by request; total skiens to complete was 4 Super Savors (14oz) & 3 7oz; needle size G; done in the Waffle stitch with a Flat Granny border. Size based on a computer pixel image created by printing a grid across desired character.
Blanket size is for a full; reference my bed is a king. 🛏

This was my first time doing pixel character grid, and I think it turned out pretty good! 🥰 Proud for her grandson to recieve this gift!
