Happy Monday! Monday Memories. 🏠❤️
If your home caught fire and you could save just ONE sentimental item (after family and pets, of course!), what would it be?
Mine is this painting from 1944. Growing up, it hung right in my grandmother's hallway. As kids, we were convinced it was the Magic Mirror from Snow White, so we affectionately dubbed it "The Man in the Mirror." It’s not a famous masterpiece, but to me, it's priceless.
Keepsakes carry memories that money can't buy.

Don’t wait to use the good china and silver… you are alive today and need to be celebrated! Why wait for a "special occasion" when YOU are the special occasion? 🍽️✨
My grandkids are telling me I’m watching too much Gordon Ramsay… but is there really such a thing? I say absolutely not! 😂
Tonight’s menu: Poor Man’s Steak & Rich Gravy over Creamy Mashed Potatoes—and yes, it’s being served on the finest plates in the house.
Here is the recipe if you want to celebrate tonight, too!

🐰 Happy First of the Month!
Have you said "Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit" yet?
This old legend—popularized by everyone from FDR to modern good luck seekers—says that if these are the very first words out of your mouth on the first day of the month, you’ll have 30 days of prosperity and happiness.
Superstition? Maybe. But a moment of positive intention is never a bad way to start a new chapter! ✨
Secure your good luck—tell us your first words this morning! 👇

THE REVEAL 🥁👇
If you guessed an antique cast iron wall-mounted match holder (or match safe), you nailed it! 🎯
Back in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, these were mounted on walls near fireplaces, wood stoves, or gas lamps. They held wooden matches off flammable surfaces and kept them dry, while the rough cast-iron surface provided a built-in spot to strike friction matches.
